A photo essay featuring Florida's south central wetlands, including Corbett, Lake Okeechobee, and the Everglades. A photo montage appendix to the colonial history of North America. {Best if viewed on larger screens-HD}
This 30 minute photo montage is the last of a series of appendix blogs to Chapter 4 of my colonial history of the United States, east of the Mississippi. After this I will present an overview of the conduct and conditions of the 13 original colonies established after the Revolutionary War and set the stage for Book 2 of Pioneer Trail: Cowboys, Indians and Pilgrims. Book 2 will begin with a journey following the Lewis and Clark Expedition of 1804 underwritten by then President Thomas Jefferson and dwell thereafter on the expansion of the US Republic across the West to the Pacific Ocean.
