Lands of the New English: Part 1 Vermont

Vermont, the fourteenth state of the Union of the United States, decidedly is one of the most “rural” of states. Its inhabitants’ independent spirit personify the character of the geography wedged between Lake Champlain and the Green Mountains. This brief visit, with photographs, highlights a few aspects of inland New England mentioned in earlier chapters of my book, Pioneer Trail.
