Pioneer Trail Continues : Ohio River Basin, Take and Transit

The Pioneer Trail: Cowboys, Indians and Pilgrims. continues. This segment of video series/blog/book features the American pioneer movement edging westward with increasing speed after the Revolutionary War. The Ohio Valley became a hub east to west and north to south. Native Indian leaders attempted to make peace (Chief White Eyes, Cornstalk, and others) but the fate of their tribes was sealed, despite treaties and promises. White Eyes and Cornstalk were murdered eventually. Johnny Appleseed (carrying his spirit book authored by Emanuel Swedenborg) hiked across Ohio planting seeds to grow fruit. (HD, also on YouTube, linked above).
